A Woman's Way Maternity Center provides a variety of services including classes ,exercise , prenatal massage and belly dance. It operates out of the birth center facility to provide an all inclusive maternity center for moms to be. "All Natural Birth Center " is our  Florida Licensed Birth Center located on site and the following is a list of of some of the services we provide:

                                    Complete Prenatal Care:

• all prenatal testing done on site
• genetic screening
• Nutritional counseling
• ultrasounds
• review of abnormal labs
• informed consent
• access to complete prenatal record for review
• self care policy
• centered group prenatals ( starts every 3 months)
• WIC form completions
• Pregnancy testing
• Teen services
• Private office setting with no long waits

We also accept PEPW temporary Medicaid, We can apply for  your Pregnancy medicaid the same day as you take your test, And we take Emergency Medicaid for Aliens should you decide to deliver at our birth center.

If you had medicaid and lost it because you are not a citizen you can inquire about our grant programs.

                                    Education and Support services:

• Free baby care classes.
• hypno birthing/bella birth classes only $250.00 add 200 for a doula
• We offer Childbirth education to woman within the community as well
• Lactation and breast feeding consultations ( free to our clients)
• Breast feeding classes
• Newborn/Postdelivery adaptation/sibling adjustment classn
• New baby care classes
• Every Mother delivering with us has the full use of our doulas
• Birth Planning ( all of our moms use a birth plan as  part of her care)
• We are on call 24 hours

                                 Well Women Health Care:

• Annual Pap and Physical exams/with routine breast exam
• Family planning services including natural family planning
• We accept the Medicaid Family planning waiver
• HIV and STD testing

 We also offer other holistic services for women:

•  herbology for woman's health related issues
• body talk therapy
• acupressure/reflexolgy
•  nutritional supplements
• Contact Reflex Analysis

VBAC

Our practice does Vbac's for women who have had a previous C section

we are a NACC member and participate in the VBAC study

                                       Labor and Delivery Services:

• We offer complete labor and delivery services
• A midwife, birth assistant and certified doula attends the birth
• A back up on call physican is available  to our clients
• Emergency supplies and equipment equal to that in a hospital delivery  room
• Large spacious birth rooms to accomodate the expecting family
• Water birth Tub
• Postpartum management  up to 24 hours in the facility and visits within 72 hours of delivery and again at 4-6 weeks.
• Newborn Care
• We process both the baby's birth certificate and social security card
• We use access online to get the newborn medicaid process started on the day of delivery as well as emergency medicaid for aliens
• Bonding and attachement parenting beginning immediate after birth

Options and Benefits you have with us that you dont get at the Hospital:

 Birth site location can be homebirth , birth center, water birth and some women choose to deliver in the hospital although they have seen the midwife at the center throughout the pregnancy ( assigned OB will deliver hospital clients )

With our Midwives your labor experience is truly yours:

• woman can eat and drink in labor
• women are allowed to be mobile, we encourage walking, the use of a birth ball  or sitting in  a rocking chair as a comfort technique. In the hospital setting women are confined to the bed.
• children are allowed to be present at birth
• we do not limit the number of people who can attend your birth experience with you
• the use of photography or video is allowed
• women can choose Dim light birthing, leboyer bath or apply other techniques of their choosing.
• Father assisted catching
• We do not perform routine episiotomies
• We do not do any invasive procedures or use drugs that will affect the normal labor pattern or cause the babies heart rate to drop as in the hospital setting ( epidural,pitocin, sleep medicaition are not used by us)
• fetal doppler monitoring to allow mobility
• massage
• acupressure/reflexolgy
• One on one monitoring during the labor, delivery and postpartum stage
• Complete newborn physical and assistance with bonding and breastfeeding in the first hour

• We accept Medicaid including Emergency Medicaid for Aliens
• We also accept all HMO and PPO plans including AETNA,UNITED HEALTH CARE,CIGNA and VISTA to name a few.
• We also accept Staywell, Health Ease, Amerigroup,United Health care Medicaid and many more
• You can request a fee schedule for our services
• We also accept cash paying clients (as low as $3600.00)
• Low income and uninsured sliding scale fee with proof of income
